Recognition of qualifications with the UK under analysis at ACSS

Several representatives of ACSS Human Resources Department met with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to clarify the necessary procedures for the recognition

of qualifications in the United Kingdom of Senior Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technicians, Radiology Technicians and Physiotherapists.

HCPC is the British entity that regulates the activity of healthcare professionals in various areas in that country and in this work session several issues were analysed with ACSS regarding the legislation in effect for the sector and the curricular plans for these professional areas, currently in operation in Portugal.
