The entrance into the career takes place in the category of Assistant, by a tender procedure based on curricular evaluation between the qualified professionals with the degree of specialist of the corresponding activity branch, which is obtained by specialized internship frequency, with a variable duration of two to four years.
Recruitment procedures comply with the Decree-Law n. 213/2000, of 2 September, and with the principles of freedom of candidacy, equal conditions and equal opportunities for all candidates.
The authorization for recruitment is decided by the leader of the institute or service and is made by an advertised tender recruitment procedure, by publication in the Government´s public journal.
The individual performance evaluation system is relevant to these professionals and provided in the diploma that establishes the integrated management and performance evaluation system in Public Administration.
